Voice-over & Narration
Professional recording environments designed to bring life to commercial advertisements, audiobooks, game characters, and corporate videos with studio-grade precision.
Grushdelta's voice-over recording services are specialized in maximizing the inherent power of the human voice. Located in the heart of Chuo-ku, Fukuoka, our studio provides a dedicated, acoustically treated recording booth and large-diaphragm condenser microphones capable of capturing the finest nuances—from the softest whisper to the most commanding narration.
We believe that a recording studio should provide more than just a room and a microphone. Our focus is on facilitating the "correct tone" through professional engineering support, ensuring that the client's vision is realized efficiently. By optimizing the recording process and reducing session time, we help our clients minimize costs while maintaining the highest sonic standards.

The 4-Step Recording Process
Pre-Session Consultation
We define the objective, target audience, and desired tone (e.g., trustworthy, friendly, or dramatic). By reviewing the script in advance, our engineers select the optimal microphone and preamp settings for the specific voice profile.
Studio Recording Session
Our engineers manage gain levels to ensure a noise-free, distortion-free signal. Whether the director is present in the booth or providing remote instructions, we capture multiple takes until the perfect delivery is achieved.
Primary Audio Cleaning
We perform essential editing to remove lip smacks, excessive breaths, and awkward silences. This process ensures the audio is polished and ready for the final mix or immediate delivery in the requested format.
Final Review & Delivery
The finalized audio files are delivered via secure cloud storage. Any necessary adjustments following the initial delivery are handled according to our standard terms and conditions.
Client Preparation Requirements
To ensure a seamless session and avoid unnecessary hourly costs, we ask our clients to prepare the following materials prior to the booking.
First, please provide the finalized script in PDF or text format. Scripts that include specific pronunciation guides for technical terms, names, or emphasized sections are highly preferred. This preparation significantly reduces the time spent on corrections during the live session.
Additionally, if you have audio references (examples of existing videos or files that represent the desired atmosphere), please share them with us. Translating a feeling like "soft and approachable" into a concrete audio sample prevents creative misalignment and accelerates the recording process.
Deliverables and File Formats
Upon completion of the session, we provide the recorded data in the following formats, depending on your project requirements:
- WAV Format: High-resolution files (44.1kHz / 24-bit or 48kHz / 24-bit) intended for professional editing and mastering.
- MP3 Format: Compressed files (320kbps) for quick review or direct web distribution.
- Stem Data: Raw, unprocessed audio files without effects (available upon request for external mixing).
Deliveries are made via secure download links or email. For detailed information regarding ownership and usage, please refer to our Master Rights and Delivery Options guide.
Timeline and Scheduling
The standard delivery time is within 3 business days following the recording session. For projects requiring only basic file exports, same-day delivery is often possible. However, sessions requiring extensive noise reduction or precision timing adjustments require additional processing time.
Urgent requests may be accommodated for an additional rush fee, subject to engineer availability. We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure your preferred time slot in our Fukuoka studio.
