How do I book a session at the studio?

You can request a booking through our contact form or by phone. Please provide your preferred dates, the specific service required (such as vocal recording or instrument tracking), and the number of participants. Our team will check the schedule and respond within 24 hours. Once the booking is confirmed, we will send you a detailed intake sheet to prepare for your session.

Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Cancellations or rescheduling requests are accepted free of charge up to 3 days before the scheduled session start date. For cancellations made after this period, a cancellation fee will apply according to our policies. For full details, please refer to the cancellation section in our Terms and Conditions.

Is a deposit required to secure a booking?

Yes, to confirm your reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total estimated cost is required. This amount is credited toward your final invoice. Payment instructions for the deposit will be provided in the confirmation email sent by our studio manager.

Are there age restrictions for studio use?

For safety reasons and to protect the equipment, clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or a responsible adult. Clients aged 16 and over are permitted to use the studio independently.

Recording Sessions

What is the maximum capacity of the studio?

The studio can accommodate a maximum of 6 people at one time. This total includes performers, directors, and the studio engineer. If your project requires more people, please consult us in advance, as exceeding this limit may affect the acoustic balance and equipment placement.

What equipment and facilities are available?

Our facility spans 120m² and consists of 3 dedicated rooms: a live room, a vocal booth, and a control room. We are equipped with large diaphragm condensers, nearfield monitors, and professional acoustic treatment to provide a clean and controlled recording environment.

What should I prepare before my recording day?

Please bring all necessary instruments, sheet music, and lyrics. To maximize the efficiency of your session, we strongly recommend reading our Preparation Guide for Recording. Proper preparation allows us to capture high-quality takes within the allotted time.

Will an engineer be available to assist me?

Yes, every session is supported by one of our studio engineers. They will handle microphone placement, level adjustments, and all technical recording operations. If you have specific technical requirements, please notify us during the booking process.

Files, Delivery, and Data Management

In what formats will my audio be delivered?

We provide high-resolution WAV files (sample rate and bit depth based on prior agreement) and MP3 files for quick review. If you require multi-track stems, please request them at the time of booking. For more information, see our guide on File Formats and Delivery.

How many revision rounds are included for mixing and mastering?

For mixing and mastering services, we include 3 rounds of revisions. Requests for a 4th revision or significant structural changes (such as re-recording parts) will incur additional charges.

Do you provide backups of my recorded sessions?

Yes, Grushdelta maintains an archive of your session data for 12 months following the conclusion of the project. We can resend files upon request within this period. After 12 months, data is securely deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

What is the typical turnaround time for delivery?

Simple recordings are typically delivered within a few days. Projects involving mixing and mastering usually take between one and two weeks. If you have a tight deadline, please discuss your timeline with us individually to check our current availability.

Rights and Legal Matters

Who owns the rights to the recorded audio?

The rights to the recorded audio (the master rights) are fully transferred to the client once 100% of the service fee has been paid. Please note that the copyright to the underlying composition remains with the composer or original rights holder. See our guide on Master Rights and Delivery Options for more detail.

Is the studio responsible for copyright clearances?

No. All copyright clearances for the music being recorded, as well as agreements with performers, are the sole responsibility of the client. Grushdelta provides technical recording services and does not assume legal liability for the content of the recordings.

How is my personal data handled?

Your name, contact details, and recording data are used exclusively for the purpose of providing and managing our services. We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. For more details, please visit our Privacy Policy.
